These API and SDK Terms apply to approved partner use of Markitel application programming interfaces, OpenAPI schemas, software development kits, sample code, API keys, documentation, dashboards, and related developer materials. They supplement the Partner Program Terms, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum template, and any signed partner agreement. A signed agreement or order form controls if it conflicts with these terms.
API and SDK access is for approved partners only. Markitel may approve, reject, suspend, narrow, rotate, or revoke access at any time to protect users, comply with law, manage commercial commitments, prevent abuse, or preserve platform integrity. Self-serve access does not guarantee signal redistribution, higher rate limits, or production rollout.
Partner API keys are bearer credentials and must be stored server-side in a secrets manager or equivalent protected environment. Keys are scoped least-privilege; a stats key must not be treated as authorization for signal redistribution or any other data product. Raw keys are shown only at creation and must never be placed in browser code, public repositories, logs, screenshots, support tickets, analytics tools, or client-side applications.
You may use API and SDK materials only for the approved partner purpose, integration, product, domain, and distribution channel. You may not resell, sublicense, scrape, mirror, bulk export, train unrelated models on, or redistribute Markitel data except as expressly authorized in writing. You must keep Markitel attribution, risk notices, stale-data handling, and display rules required by the approved integration.
The Partner API is designed to expose aggregate partner statistics and allowlisted signal fields only. Unless a signed agreement expressly says otherwise, you must not request, infer, store, or expose raw user emails, account numbers, broker balances, OAuth tokens, payment identifiers, personal notes, dispute evidence, or other personal data outside the approved scope.
You are responsible for protecting your systems, users, keys, logs, and staff access. You must promptly notify Markitel if a key is lost, exposed, abused, or suspected to be compromised. Markitel may rotate or revoke credentials, reduce scopes, or suspend API access while investigating an incident. Security reports should be sent to security@markitel.com.
Rate limits, quotas, response shapes, pagination rules, and access tiers may vary by partner agreement and may change to protect platform reliability. Markitel may throttle, reject, or disable requests that exceed limits, create operational risk, or violate these terms. No API, SDK, schema, or sample code guarantees uninterrupted availability, data freshness, execution, profitability, or trading results.
Markitel may update endpoints, schemas, SDKs, sample code, authentication methods, response fields, and documentation. We aim to avoid unnecessary breaking changes for approved production partners, but partner integrations must handle documented errors, missing optional fields, stale data, rate limits, and temporary unavailability.
Partner integrations must comply with applicable financial-promotion, privacy, advertising, sanctions, consumer-protection, platform, and broker rules. You may not state or imply profit certainty, execution certainty, an official broker or platform endorsement, a Store listing, verified live-provider status, or automated payout availability unless Markitel has approved that exact claim in writing and the underlying evidence exists.
Upon suspension or termination, you must stop using API keys, SDK materials, feeds, cached data, marks, and partner materials except as expressly allowed in writing. Markitel may require deletion, return, or certification of destruction for data received through API or SDK access, subject to legal, audit, security, billing, and dispute-retention requirements.
