Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time. Annual plans pro-rate the difference; monthly plans take effect on the next billing cycle.
Can I try Markitel before paying?
Yes — the Starter tier is free forever: live signals on a short delay, basic charts, and paper trading, with no card required. Upgrade to Pro or Elite whenever you want real-time delivery and the full toolset. Paid plans bill immediately and can be cancelled anytime from the billing portal.
Is live broker trading included?
Paper trading is included on every paid tier and is the default experience at launch. Live broker connection (MetaTrader 5 today, more venues coming) is currently an invite-only beta for Elite subscribers — contact support to apply. We're keeping the live cohort small while we soak the execution rails.
Do I need a broker account?
No — every tier runs on a simulated paper portfolio by default. A broker account is only required if you're accepted into the Elite live-trading beta. Starter and Pro can use the full feed, charts, signals, and paper trading without ever connecting a broker.
What's the Founder Lifetime tier?
A one-time payment that locks in Pro ($399) or Elite ($699) forever — no monthly bill, no annual renewal. Capped at 50 seats. Refundable within 14 days via the Stripe portal. Designed for early supporters who want to lock in pricing while we ship.
Where is my data stored?
Markitel snapshots portfolio, watchlist, and signal history regularly; you can export anything on demand. We never custody funds — your broker holds the cash.
