We also automatically collect usage data such as pages visited, signals viewed, virtual portfolio activity, and interaction patterns with the platform. Device information including browser type, operating system, and IP address is collected to ensure platform security and optimize performance.
Your information is used to provide and improve our services, personalize your signal feed, calculate paper or challenge rankings where those features are available, and communicate important platform updates. We analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve signal accuracy and develop new features. We may use your email address to send service-related notifications, performance reports, and, with your consent, marketing communications about new features or promotions.
Your data is stored on encrypted infrastructure operated by industry-leading cloud providers that maintain SOC 2 Type II certification for their platforms. We implement technical and organizational security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and ongoing monitoring to protect your personal information. While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We integrate with third-party services for analytics, payment processing, email delivery, hosting, security monitoring, market data, AI/search features, and broker-connect workflows. These providers have access only to the information necessary to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to protect your data. We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we retain anonymized usage data for analytical purposes and certain records as required by law. Virtual portfolio history and signal interaction data are retained for 24 months after your last login. Payment records are retained for 7 years to comply with tax and financial reporting obligations.
